• The European Union has approved the first set of rules targeting crypto regulations.

• The Market in Cryptoassets (MiCA) will be in play next year, placing numerous rules on digital currency firms.

• The rules assist in tackling licensing issues and preventing crypto malware activities, including money laundering.

• Missing from MiCA are rules that would have banned the use of energy-intensive proof-of-work cryptocurrencies, namely Bitcoin and (at the time) Ethereum, which were removed from a draft version of the rule last year.

Airstack Raises Over $7M for AI-Backed Web3 Developer Platform

Crowdfunding is among the top ways for crypto projects to get funding for their projects, and Airstack recently raised funds using AI-backed Web3 developer platform. It's not the first to leverage such tools and won't be the last.

Here is what we know about the story:

• Airstack raised over $7 million during its second-half pre-seed funding closing led by Superscrypt.

• Developers can access and utilize the cross-chain data and employ natural language in doing so by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Its debut in April has attracted over 200 developers, who have employed the platform to develop projects on DeFi portfolios and span market engines.

• Currently, there are no fees charged for the services Airstack provides, but this could change in the future.
